Through integrated student supports, expanded learning time and opportunities, and family and community engagement, the Bayview Beacon provides the resources necessary for the ever-changing needs of our communities to become flourishing centers of growth and support.  We work, because after school works.

High School Youth Served

At Phillip & Sala Burton High School, the Bayview Beacon serves 681 active youth. This number reflects the number of high schoolers who actively attend Beacon programs consistently throughout the school year.

Service Areas by Zip Code

Beacon serves youth from all over San Francisco and the Bay Area. The largest number of participants come from Bayview Hunters Point and Visitacion Valley/ Excelsior.

Employment and Family WOrkshops

875 youth utilized our Employment drop in services last year with 71 days of support offered. Over 1500 youth and 500 adults attended workshops and Beacon events.
